Hartenholm, March 2025 --- Efficient and sustainable labeling solutions from product to outer packaging and pallet, as well as a powerful software platform, will be the focus of Logopak Systeme GmbH & Co. KG’s presence at LogiMAT from 11 to 13 March 2025 (Hall 2, Stand C22). Labeling solutions from PID sister company Novexx Solutions GmbH will also be on display.
The exhibits cover four key areas: pallet labeling with a versatile and environmentally friendly three-sided labeling system from Logopak; as a joint solution, outer packaging labeling with specialised shipping label applicators for e-commerce and mail-order businesses, as well as linerless labeling; and product labeling with Novexx devices. All exhibits are controlled using the PID 3SIXTY software platform, a state-of-the-art printing, data management, and machine monitoring software for identification processes.
Quality made in Germany: Logopak Systeme and Novexx Solutions, both part of the Possehl Identification Solutions (PID) business unit of the Lübeck-based Possehl Group, demonstrate that users have access to the best PID hardware and software solutions. Customers benefit from an extensive product portfolio, allowing optimal solutions to be selected or developed for their specific labeling requirements.
Pallet labeling without compressed air and waste
“Compressed air – no thanks” is the motto for pallet labeling with the Logomatic 850 eP3 Hybrid series from Logopak. By eliminating pneumatics when applying labels, one of the most expensive forms of industrial energy is saved, while also supporting the sustainable implementation of energy management systems according to ISO 50001:2018. “Waste – no thanks” is another principle – the labeling systems can be operated with linerless labels, eliminating the need to dispose of backing material. By avoiding compressed air and using sustainable labels made from FSC-certified wood, the 850 eP3 Hybrid series reduces the carbon footprint in production, logistics, and waste management.
Outer packaging labeling for shipping
At the joint exhibition stand for labeling trays, cartons, and other outer packaging, Logopak Systeme and Novexx present two examples of networked labeling solutions.
In the first application, a Novexx print-and-apply system and a Logomatic 510 TBH labeling system from Logopak, featuring integrated optoelectronic height detection, are jointly controlled via the manage.ID software within the PID 3SIXTY platform. Using data typically sourced from the customer's IT infrastructure – whether an ERP/MES system or a specialised database – the Novexx system first generates an ID label. A scanner verifies the readability of the data on the label and, if valid, triggers the creation of a shipping label by the Logomatic 510 TBH system via manage.ID. The labeling system retrieves the necessary data from manage.ID and applies the final label from above using a servo-driven applicator, taking detected carton height into account. The Logomatic 510 TBH system achieves high operational speeds, indicating its capability to handle high labeling speeds and throughput rates in real-world applications thanks to its seamless networking and servo-motor-driven application technology.
In the second application example, the Logomatic 410 Linerless labeling system automatically creates a 50 mm x 105 mm ID label and applies it to a carton. It is sustainable because linerless labels generate no backing waste, and flexible because it can produce various label formats in succession without adjustments. At the LogiMAT exhibit, for instance, it can generate warning labels sized 105 mm x 105 mm. The ability to accommodate different label lengths ensures optimal material usage and maximum cost efficiency for this innovative eco-labeller. In this second demonstration, after a successful readability check by a scanner using data from manage.ID, the shipping label is printed and applied using a Novexx print-and-apply system. This exhibit highlights how sustainable and flexible labeling systems, when networked together, provide optimal labeling solutions.
RFID Innovation: Smart data capture for maximum transparency in logistics
Our latest RFID labels with integrated temperature sensors enable continuous monitoring of critical environmental conditions in your supply chain. These sensors record temperature ranges from -40°C to +125°C and facilitate automatic data collection at designated RFID reading points—ideal for ensuring product traceability and quality assurance.
PID 3SIXTY: Cross-manufacturer software platform for PID network partners
Another key highlight at the Logopak and NOVEXX Solutions exhibit is the presentation of the PID 3SIXTY software platform, developed collaboratively within the PID Group. All devices on the stand are networked and controlled via this software.
Visitors will be able to experience live demonstrations of seamless data exchange within the platform and its integration with higher-level OT and IT systems. PID 3SIXTY ensures greater security and efficiency in complex labeling and identification processes.
Logopak at the AIM e.V. joint stand (Hall 2, stand B07)
In addition to its own stand, Logopak will also be present at the AIM e.V. joint stand (Hall 2, Stand B07). A Logomatic 410 T RFID labeling system will be a key component of the Tracking & Tracing Theatre—an interactive scenario demonstrating digital supply chain solutions using Auto-ID technologies such as RFID, RTLS, and IoT.
Logopak Systeme and NOVEXX Solutions – Independent and strong within the PID Group
With their joint exhibition at LogiMAT 2025, both companies—part of Possehl Identification Solutions (PID), a division of the Lübeck-based Possehl Group—emphasise their individual strengths: NOVEXX Solutions excels in label printers and print-and-apply solutions, while Logopak Systems specialises in fully integrated and fully automated print-and-apply systems, including pallet labeling solutions.
